A vital part of Kondoma Meras work is managed by our informers. They’re often students in Uppsala that have an interest in sexual health as well as an open mind towards people’s sexual differences. The informers make Kondoma Mera and their work visible in different ways, mostly by working with the peer-to-peer method, where they meet and inform other students about sexual and reproductive health and rights, as well as how to practice safe sex.
You need no previous experience or knowledge to join us. All the informers receive training and support when they start at Kondoma Mera. As an informer one can do many different things such as visiting campuses, different student nations and their activities to meet students. Other tasks can include working with social media and our website, developing sponsorship concepts, working with graphic design or arranging events and pub quizzes. Kondoma Mera also encourages its informers to come up with their own activities. The sky’s the limit. Each semester, one of the informers is chosen to represent the informers in Kondoma Meras governing board.
