English: The transdermal patch contains oestrogen and progestogen, which prevents ovulation and minimises the risk of an unwanted pregnancy. The patch is thin, beige in colour and measures 2 x 2 inches (or 5 x 5 cm). It can be put anywhere on your body except for the breasts, and is changed once a week. You do this for three weeks and then go a week without a patch to get your period and then put a new one back on. For more information you can turn to a Youth Guidance Centre (ungdomsmottagning in Swedish), a Sesam centre, a midwifery centre or a gynecology clinic.
