English: Gonorrhea is an STI caused by bacteria transmitted through unprotected sex where mucous membranes and body fluids are involved. Symptoms can be pain when peeing, strange discharges from the urethra or vagina, and/or (if you’ve a uterus) menstrual spotting. People who have dicks can also experience pain in the scrotum. Some people experience symptoms, others don’t. Gonorrhea is treated with antibiotics and the treatment is free. The sooner you get treatment, the smaller the risk of you transmitting gonorrhea to anyone else, or that the infection leads to inflammation and potential infertility.
